I am looking for an old workout I used to do (it was from the late '80's or early '90's:1987,1988,1989????,). It was a sick workout but it worked!! The idea behind it was that if you blasted your legs your growth hormones would kick in and your upper body wouldn't have to be worked as hard to compensate. It really worked, but it was nuts. I remember getting light-headed and nauseous after every work out but it not only grew my legs but my upper body too! I'm looking for a copy of this workout because I'd like to try it again. I think you did the legs twice a week and the upper body 3 times a week? It went something like this:
You started out doing (2) sets of squats (25 reps) to failure (about 30-45 sec rest between sets) (I remember starting with 185 and 6 wks later I was doing 315 without a belt!)
2 sets of Step-ups on a 12" platform (25 reps each leg with 20-45 sec rest between sets)
2 sets of Hack Squats (20-25 reps)
2 sets of leg extensions
2 sets of leg curls
2 sets of calf raises
Upper Body:
2 sets of dips
2 sets of bicep curls
2 sets of tricep curls
2 sets of shoulder presses?
???
If anyone can recall this workout and has a copy of it and could share it with me, I would greatly appreciate it.
