Access Problems #2

Hi,

I registered recently and as you can see I uploaded an avatar which is working ok, but when I click on a download link in a forum post I get "access denied".

I have logged out, then back in, I have logged out, close browser and opened browser and logged in again....no joy.

Is downloading attachments to posts an upgraded membership feature?

What other restrictions are there that are not outlined in the upgraded membership info?

Thanks,

Ken

Hello Ken:

The attachment feature requires an upgrade to view. Sorry that was not clear. Reason being that the downloads cost the Operators money in bandwidth and we like to share the burden of these costs with our supporting members.

You can become a supporting member here if you like or just enjoy all of the FREE areas, your choice. Once you are a supporting member, you will have many different areas opened up to you here at Musclemag.com.

Thanks for your participation in our Community.

Thanks..

Oh ok,

Thanks Ace for your prompt reply.

I suspected the bandwidth issue might be the snag but as most posts in forums I have seen and have managed over the years don't have such bandwidth "sponges" I was not sure it would have been the issue.

I saw your reference before to being a "supporting" member but I didn't catch that you meant that word in the generic sense to apply to any paid membership. Duh.... I was looking for a membership level called "Supporting". I have seen this before with memberships in other mostly political type organizations.

Anyhoo, thanks for the input, and thanks for not flaming the clueless newbie.

Ken
