First what you need to do is break up these countless sit ups, its just a waist of time. What you need to do is have two to three days of working your abs with weights, that is weighted crunches, weighted rotating obliques etc. In between these two to three days you have none weighted ab workouts such as pikes, sit ups, incline sit-ups, using the captains chair, reverse crunches, throw downs etc. However you want to leave yourself a day or two to relax your abs need to heal and recover. The next two things you need to do is drink lots of water, this is key to getting cut, and dieting try to eat more meals about 6 a day but in smaller portions (healthy foods too) this speeds up your metabolism. Last but not least you need to dedicate yourself to doing some cardio depending on your weight alot cardio, but if your an average weight guy you want to put in about 20 to 15 minutes of cardio either before or after your workout. I have heard that cardio after is more efficient but i never have tried it out for myself, I generally run after or hold a separate day for cardio alone this also works well. Hope this helps.

There's should be a training techniques and dietary strategies. The fact is, your nutrition is
going to be more important than your training to lose your stubborn stomach fat and get
those six pack abs. Dietary habits are the next important reason that most people will never
lose their body fat and get visible abs.

Normally i have done regular workouts on daily basis. daily workouts and positive thinking reduce your stress also.Make a nice plan for particular your body.Mostly i have work on my chest, shoulders, triceps in every day. I also do same for back and biceps together.
