SARS in hk is uder control, but its really scary.
if you got infected you could be dead in 4-5 days
and tell you what they used steroid to cure it here.

Semi-Pro boxer
Golden Glove Champ
Workout regimine:
5 days a week stretch-run 2 miles- medicine ball on decline bench-gravity bar-turntable abs- every other day heavybag- every other day off heavybag i do a speedbag workout, depending on day chest, tri's- back, bi's, legs, shoulders. skip rope-in boxing the most important factor in the sport is stamina and abdominal power. Abdominal power is key because all the muscles in your body rely on that main area it is the center and therefore your center must be the main focus of working out.

was doing kung fu (tzu jan kune do), but it was too expensive. Im going to probably join the martial arts club at school......not sure of the style though. I want to do San Da or Muay Thai, b/c its so damn effective, no wasting time on forms like mantis or crane.

Took Karate, TKD, Northern & Southern Shaolin. Cant decide what to take next tho. "no wasting time on forms like mantis or crane." - Forgedfitness I find those styles are very helpful for your body, maybe not so much in a fight. imho

-to each their own-

bjj=brazilian jiu jitsu. I'm also doing goju-ryu from time to time since my uncle is a blackbelt. We practice the bunkai and katas more than the other principles. To think I'm a newbie I already learned all the 5 taikyoku and hopefully I'll be learning geki sai dai soon.

I would suggest you look for a teacher you like over a style. Remember, just like when you were going to public school, a teacher is what makes a world of difference. If you just look for a style you will not get as much out of it. With a good teachers, you can cross over to most other styles and be able to pick it up much quicker. A good teacher will teach you the body mechanics of movement over anything else. That is at least how I feel. Look for someone that is very relaxed and fluent in their movement, as well as the students under him. If they always look tense like they are trying hard, I would stay away from that school. Because when you tense your whole body, you have your opposing muscles working against your primary muscle while executing any movement ( attack, defense, positioning).

Everyone will have different views on the subject but for me, I feel this will help you the most.
