What about ProLab ? I know their advertising is really gay, but they have great products. Pure Whey comes in at 41.8 cents a serving. Which is 130 cal, 2 fat, 6 carb, 22 protein. You will not find a better tasting chocolate protein anywhere.

The best way to compare costs of a Protein powders is to figure how much you pay per gram of Protein . Now this may seem a little weird but it eliminates the hassle of comparing servings that aren't the same. Take for instance Designer : to figure price per gram of protein take price, 29.99, divide by servings, 40, then by grams of Protein per serving, 18.5.

29.99/40=0.74975
0.74975/18.5=0.040527 dollars per gram of protein.
for Isopure:
49.99/22=2.27227
2.27227/50=0.045445 dollars per gram of protein.

Now think of it this way. Say you want to take 150 grams of protein from protein powder. This is where figuring how much it will cost per gram of protein come in handy. To figure for 150 grams of protein per day take dollars per gram of protein time’s amount of Protein :
Designer
0.040527 x 150 = 6.07905 dollars per day
Isopure
0.045445 x 150 = 6.81675 dollars per day

So as you can see it would be cheaper to take Designer . In the long run .80 cents a day can add up. Think of it this way save .80 cents a day for 30 days and you save 24 dollars a month!! That is all most another jug of protein!

Hello Dungeonmaster2k:

Thank you for the inquiry. Unfortunately, we currently do not carry the Kaizen product line. However, I will add it to the "wish list". What items work for you?

Have a great day!

natural whey i beleive doesn't use some artificial sweetners like regular does, but imo the regular brand tastes better, and as far as fat loss, its not dependent on the protein shake, its mainly on diet, cals out should be more than cals in, keep protein high.

The natural stuff, instead of putting in additives they put in a nasty taste, I'd personally stick with the normal 100%

Just bought a tub of Optimum vanilla 100% (get it here) , have to say it is the best protein that I have used, mixes very easy, tastes good. Be sure to check the prices on this site before you buy anywhere else, I should have (would have saved money).....but my wife insisted on having her mix and not waiting for a mail order to come in, gotta keep the wife happy.....she likes the taste of it too, and she is pretty picky!

the best one for weight loss is most likely to be the one lowest in kcals. though type the macro nutirent levels out. incase one is all dextrose and fat and one is all protein. this would make a difference.

Met-Rx protein

yes, Optimum is some good stuff, bt my personal fave it still Met-Rx, which is priced pretty decent, and to me it tastes awesome. at least the chocolate does anyway. and thats the powders, i can t say much for the bars. also, Human Development Technologies big ole 5 = 1 pounder chocolate (get it here) it pretty tastey and cheap, but im not sure if fitsavers carries it.

i have to agree with juzamm. ProLab's N-Large does taste pretty decent and delivers about 52 grams of protein a scoop. I actually bought this n-large at a grocery store in the natural foods section.(word of advice - dont buy supplemnts at flashy bbuilding stores, (buy here!) or chances are you can get ripped off. ex>musclebeach). AND as for the muscle tech combo (nitro-tech,cell tech,hydroxycut,- great for keeping weight and gettin lean. (if you wanna spend the $$$$) just a few opinions i thought id like to share) PEACE!
